Let me see if I understand this. Catholic University uses crucifixes in all of their rooms since their religion is based upon the crucifixion of Christ on the cross. Muslim students attends Catholic University by choice. Catholic University makes rooms available for Muslims to pray in. Muslims sue Catholic University for having crosses where they pray.
Supposedly, their human rights are being violated because there is a cross in the room that they pray in. This story talks about the lawsuit that has been filed against Catholic University for their human rights violations.
You have to love the quote from the attorney for the Muslim students where he says that it is technically not illegal to refuse to to provide rooms devoid of Catholic icons. So if it is not illegal, then why the lawsuit? This suit appears to be part of an effort to marginalize the rights of Christians while granting special privileges to Muslims out of political correctness or fear of backlash. But that is our opinion, read the story and draw your own conclusions.
