I will keep this short and leave you to ponder the implications of anyone having the power to arrest and punish a woman for having sexy eyes. wtf? The Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice in Saudi Arabia claims to have the authority to force women to cover their eyes if they are deemed to be too sexy.
Are the men in Saudi Arabia so weak in moral character that someone has to protect them from the ‘temptations’ of a fully covered women whose only visible feature is her eyes? The only part of the story that I have not found yet is the obligatory interview that is sure to follow explaining how this policy is liberating for women.
