Look’s like Santa came early this year and brought China a new toy to play with. Actually, it’s an older Soviet carrier that China has retrofitted for their Navy’s use. The attached story has the satellite photo of the carrier in the Yellow Sea. China has the right to expand its navy to defend their maritime interests, and this carrier is a great start for them; expect more to come. As to the quote in the story about this carrier being used only for research and training, I think the world knows better.
So what is the point of this short article? We just wanted to show you what you paid for with your purchases of Chinese products, and the interest we collectively paid them for financing our national debt. China thanks you for your patronage.
And if people think this is China’s only new toy, they are sadly mistaken.
