In reading this article from Press TV in Iran, there is a chilling admission made by one of the country’s leaders. We all know that Iran does not have an official military presence throughout the world; their global power rests in the tens of thousands of terrorists that are embedded in countries from the Middle East to the United States. Many ignore or discount this fact because admitting it makes them uncomfortable and scared.
” Obama must know that if any country decides to invade the Islamic Republic, Tehran will give a crushing response to invaders and all their interests across the world.” That quote is both a warning, and an acknowledgment of the existence of terror assets located around the world. How else can you deliver a crushing response to interests across the world if you have not already placed the necessary assets to carry out the threat? This is not the bluster of a politician; no, this was a strong public message acknowledging the ability to inflict damage upon the interests of the West.
Sorry to make some of you more uncomfortable, but maybe we need to believe people when they tell us they have the ability to hurt us.
